Wave Shutter does not respond - stop working

Modified on Wed, 3 Jul at 10:12 AM

The Wave Shutter Firmware version 12.13 have a known issue which can be resolved updating the firmware. The issue is caused by the Alarm 3 - Power supply fault (power supply 230 V AC frequency fault)

The alarm that is triggered is related to the tension verification (V). It appears that the sensitivity setting for this alarm was slightly too high in certain scenarios. We have, however, devised a solution to rectify this issue. In the following article and on the GitHub repository you will find the firmware update. This update will enable you to apply the necessary modifications to your device, thereby resolving the issue at hand.

Hopefully your gateway have the ability to do the update. Should your gateway lack this functionality, kindly inform us promptly, and we will supply you with a comprehensive guide along with relevant links to the necessary program for the update process. To proceed, you will require a Z-Wave USB key.

Home Assistant users should have the new firmware notification visible on the side menu in the Settings section or in the Z-Wave JS UI device OTA updates section. In case you don't have this option you may check the following article to update the devices manually from Home Assistant:
