The Home Center 3 (HC3) with Z-Wave Engine 2 does not automatically set the lifeline for Multi-Channel (MC) devices correctly. To ensure the reports from MC devices are displayed accurately in the gateway, users need to manually set the MC lifeline after adding an MC device. This manual setup is crucial for proper functionality and accurate data visualisation.
In order to set the MC device correctly in HC3 follow the next steps:
- From the Home screen choose the device settings by clicking on the device settings icon.
- Choose the Association tab and if the device is set on 1(signlechannel), delete it.
- Confirm deleting the association. by pressing the Delete button.
- Select EndPoint0 in the first drop down field, Group 1 in the second drop down field and 1.0 (multichannel) in the third drop down field and click the + button to add the Multi channel Association.
- A new row named Established associations will be visible under the drop down menus showing the newly added Multichannel association.
