To download the Shelly Smart Control app from the App Store or Google Play, an internet connection is required.
The app primarily operates via cloud connectivity, enabling full control and access from anywhere. However, it also supports Local Control, which allows you to manage devices over your local network without internet access. Please note that certain devices - such as battery-powered or sleeping sensors (e.g., Shelly H&T Gen3, Shelly Plus Smoke) - require cloud access to be fully operational within the app.
