A new feature has been introduced to streamline the process of transferring Shelly devices between accounts. This functionality is ideal for various scenarios, including professional installations, property sales, or handing over device management to new owners.
Device Transfer Process
Access Both Accounts
Ensure access to both the current account and the target account where the devices will be transferred.Initiate the Transfer
- Open the All Devices section in the current account.
- Select the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the device.
- Choose Transfer Devices and select the target account.
Account Setup for New Users
- If needed, create a new account for the new owner.
- Complete the transfer process and provide login credentials for the account. The new user can change the password to secure their access.
Additional Features
The Shelly app allows up to five accounts to remain logged in at the same time, ensuring efficient management across multiple accounts and devices.
