1. Summary
This documentation outlines the ppm (parts per million) thresholds for gas alarms. It specifies the concentration levels at which gas alarms are triggered, differentiating between low and high gas concentrations.
2. PPM Levels
The gas alarm ppm thresholds are defined as follows:
Low Gas Concentration
PPM Threshold: 1800 ppm
When the concentration of gas in the environment reaches or exceeds 1800 ppm, the gas alarm will be triggered to indicate a low gas concentration.
High Gas Concentration
PPM Threshold: 3000 ppm
When the concentration of gas in the environment reaches or exceeds 3000 ppm, the gas alarm will be triggered to indicate a high gas concentration.
The thresholds cannot be modified.
These ppm levels serve as critical reference points for gas monitoring and safety systems, ensuring that appropriate alarms are activated when gas concentrations reach potentially hazardous levels.
