Why doesn’t H&T Gen3 work with BLU TRV? or How do I pair H&T with BLU TRV

The Shelly H&T Gen3 (Wi-Fi based) cannot be used as an external temperature sensor for the Shelly BLU TRV. Although it has Bluetooth, it is used only for device inclusion and setup.

To use an external temperature sensor with the BLU TRV, you need a Shelly BLU H&T (Bluetooth-based model). BLU devices communicate with the TRV via Bluetooth and must be paired through a compatible Bluetooth gateway (Shelly Gateway Gen3 with firmware version 1.7.4-beta2 or newer).

Once a Shelly BLU H&T is available, you can access the gateway’s web interface via its IP address and use the “Add sensor” option to pair the BLU H&T as an external temperature sensor for the TRV.
