Why is my Shelly BLU device draining its battery quickly?

The device may be stuck in bootloader mode, often caused by an incomplete update.
To resolve this, a manual update is required:

  1. We recommend using an Android smartphone or another compatible device to perform the update.
  2. Ensure the device has been "forgotten" in your Bluetooth settings before proceeding.

Steps to follow:

  1. Insert the battery. The device should appear in the Shelly Debug app.
  2. Select the device and initiate a slow OTA (Over-The-Air) update.

If the device doesn’t appear immediately, try pressing and holding the button briefly before reinserting the battery.
